ProfessionalWith the introduction of compulsory security training for Security Officers, Vanguard Surveillance and Security is a qualified training provider, including Communication and Conflict In The Work Place Management, for more than two years. 
The difference experienced in ones own confidence, and that of staff is amazing. Violent incidents have been reduced to zero, as have the number of actual conflicts experienced. Staff have developed the skills and knowledge to approach difficult situations in a structured and professional manner.
The course provides the framework for employers to monitor, manage and reduce conflict in the workplace. It provides staff with the skills and knowledge to recognise and reduce the risk of conflict and complies with Violence at Work Policies under Health and Safety regulations.
Many individuals do not report conflicts or bullying in the workplace due to embarrassment, fear of causing trouble, or fear of losing their job. The impact this has on employers is unmotivated and unhappy staff, sickness absence, loss of productivity, disruption, and at the end of the day, the loss of an employee.
This course will introduce the importance of reporting incidents, allowing employers to monitor and take action at an early stage, therefore encouraging staff to report the incident. Participants are provided with techniques to avoid escalation of conflict, to reduce and resolve conflict and to recognise when and how to leave to avoid violence.
